Can't wait to see the babies!!! Brand new kittens are so cute...you are going to be so lucky!!

And, again.....no babies today LOL It's so hard to beleive, but true. I called my vet, and she's stumped. She doesn't want to induce her or give her a section if she is not as far along as we originally intended, so we just get to wait.

Omg.. Still none. I would be tempted to get Kiwi an x-ray if I was you. Sorry if this has been asked Matt, but are you sure of the dates?

well, no....I was going by what the original owner said, and since I was at that person's house at the time, I beleived it to be true because she was in heat and around a whole male. The vet even examined her and said that it seemed to be right on track.
but, as we can all tell.....the dates are wrong, but she is just massive, so it's not far off.

Texas soon to be moving far away :-(
Well, if those kittens dont come out soon I believe she will bust from the bellybutton. lol. Poor girl. I wasnt here in time for the polls but i bet on 7. I hope she has no problems. my cat got out when she was in heat last week. Im hoping a male didnt find her.

I hope she has a safe delivery.

If no go on kittens yet she will make a nice cat dinner
being the fact she is stuffed with goodies.

I thought she was 65 days on Feb 28th, and the vet thought the same.
Now, it's March 5th. So, I couldn't tell you much more. She's gone over what we thought, and at the vet today, her temp was 100 even, so that's just borderline. Something I just noticed, that is a little scary, is she is alot smaller today for some reason(maybe I am crazy) and she looks a little dirty, right at that area
I have to go search my room

thats a good sign, it means the babies have shifted into the birth canal.

i panicked and phoned my vet when that happened to Mav to make sure she hadnt secretly given birth and eaten then!

she gave birth 2 days after she 'shrank'

ok, because I am freaking out, she still feels full....but she is alot smaller looking, almost like she had 3 and 3 are left kinda LOL
I looked all over, and there is nothing anywhere
She is being very sucky, and pretty chatty too. Not in pain, just saying "hi" repeatedly
Could this be it?

if she'd had them more than likely you'd know.

maverick was really affectionate 2days before and her belly shrank. on the wednesday she was super affectionate and kept throwing herself at me and wanted to be petted for 2 hours solid. petted and loved her from 5.30-11 nearly non stop. at 11 her water broke/lost her plug so took her upstairs. she had a sleep then woke me up at three to have her babies.

if she's being quite affectionate now chances are she'll want you there

I took someone's advice, and I am relaxing, and breathing LOL
I have the next 3 days off, so everything should go well.
If I have another panic attack worrying I'm sure you'll be here to advise me =)

you think your bad? my vet lives a few roads away from me, my mum had to chain me to the sofa to stop me taking the cat round to show her!

she gave me some good advice though: cats have been doing this since there have been cats. they know what they are doing.

oh and if she has the babies you'll notice as she'll dissapear a lot.

Have you got the birthing box ready yet? what have you chosen for her to use?

I have 2 cardboard boxes with bedding set up for her to give birth in, and a big puffy kitty bed put away for her after she delivers. I didn't want her picking the nice one and dirtying it...so it's hidden for now.

i did the same and bought two cheapy cat beds so i could wash one and use one for after.

its wasnt as messy as i thought it would be. only a little blood from the after birth.
