I don't know anyone whose birthdays fall on the 29th, but my father asked my mother to marry him on the 29th. He wanted an unusual date for their engagement, and he got it! Tells you what kind of sense of humour he has.

I went to elementary school with someone whose birthday was 2/29. On a related note, 2 of my friends got married last year on 2/29.
Reminds me that I should wish them all a happy anniversary!

A good friend of mine in college had a Feb 29th birthday. We would joke that she was only five, since she only had had five birthdays.

My mother is CONVINCED that I was thisclose to being born on the 29th of February. She remembers it "so clearly".... every time she says this (which is usually every year) I have to remind her, no mom, there was no 29th of February in 1982. *shakes head*

I have known 2 people! One was a guy in high school and was teased about being only 4 years old, and the other was a dear family friend. We had fun in her 80th year giving her a cake that had only 20 candles.
I know her parents celebrated her birthday in non-leap years by combining it with her sister who had a birthday about March 2nd or 3rd.
