Get out the wet noodle. I was a bad meowmy this morning.

I had hung my cane over my arm to reach for a can of Jasper's cat food. The cane then swung and hit him on the head. Usually he is underfoot as I put the food down, but today he watched from the other room. Even after I left the kitchen, he was still keeping one eye on me as he ate.

I will probably be spending this morning apologizing with belly rubs and head skritches.

Woops! At least it was not intentional, he will most likely forgive you. Although.. I once put Elmer out of the kitchen into the hallway and for some reason that seemed to stick in his mind and he would usually sit there from then on while we cooked dinner. Sometimes they just pick up things so quick its amazing.

Yes, Jasper will forgive me in a while ("keep rubbing, meowmy!") unlike our Magnolia (RB) who never forgave Dad for farting in her face.

good grief - i have stepped on Cable many times - she just won't learn not to walk/sit/lie directly under my feet! i try to be careful, but there's only so much a person can do!
he'll get over it - Cable always does!

Oh Sharon... You know that never works... lol... I can't tell you how many times I've stepped on Kai and he still insists on riding my foot around the house... Don't worry, Jan... he'll get over it...

I am sure Jasper will forgive you in no time!!

I am sure that I have inadvertently bumped Tibby numerous times with my walking stick!
I never realise that it swings out so far when I'm not looking, plus Tibby always stands SO close!!

Tibby also runs into it all the time, (nearly knocking me over!) so I think it's some sort of funny Karma!

We noticed that about Buddy as well.. he TRIES to be in the way. Wether its while we are on the move, before we move, after we move and we intend to walk back.. he somehow finds a way to lay or stand in our path instead of anywhere even remotely out of the way. I don't know where he lived before or how he could never have learned feet go clomp clomp and can stomp, move out of the way! :p

Aw hugs to Jasper!!

Holly got me back for something last night?! I was on the telephone lying on my bed and I had an orange juice and Holly tipped it all over my cream carpet! Hmm...
