1st Kitten & New 2 Site

My name is Tara and I just got my 1st kitten ever! Her name is Puppy and she is 5 months old. While preparing for her adoption I have turned to this site for pretty much everything...so thanks for all the 411. Puppy is an orange tabby and I love her. She is a bit sick I fear, however, I am vetting her tomorrow. We are so happy to be a part of the site!

Puppy is wheezing a bit and her eyes are drippy. I am VERY upset about this. She doesn't play very much but she has only just started climbing on my lap today. She started out very scared but not at all aggressive. I hope she is happy...I can't tell as she isn't very playful. I don't think she feels well.

Aww...I hope she is feeling better soon. She probably picked up a URI at the shelter. Can't wait to see pictures soon!

Thank you all so much for your concern regarding Puppy's health. We went to the vet to find out that she has a URI and pink eye. She may have a fever, however, she was not letting the vet take her temp...who can blame her?? ?? She got some antibiotics and eye ointment...she wipes the ointment right off and hates the medicine! Should I be overly concerned? The vet mentioned Herpes...

PS...and yes...I named her Puppy
