I have MSN which I like when it's useful but annoying when too many ppl are messenging me. I usually almost have it set at invisible - too much distraction from my work (and I am an excellent multitasker!).
I like using it for videoconferencing from home with patients who come from far flung places - I work for a hospital in Nova Scotia and many of my patients can live up to hrs away and some in Bermuda. I have a system on my puter that lets me check vitals and I can see them on my video (I have a $40,000 system tho) and they do not have to travel all that way unless it is urgent. I also preach this gospel atwork so the kids in hospital can keep up wuth homework (they don't thank me for that tho - lol), their friends, their pets and grandma.i(among other family members).
But I integrated the video with MSN because I did like the audio outoput from my system - need to enhance it so if there are any aound engineers out there. It's already been checked by a sound engineer who works for the Dixie Chicks and he has one for me but it's $100,000 so I have to have a larger market for it.
