Tippy's modelling her new collar today - trying to decide whether she likes it.

What do you think mum - does this suit me?

Mmm I like the little teddy bears and lovehearts

The blue shiny bell is nice as well.
Yep - this'll do. All this shopping has worn me out.

Hi DandiFam1658 welcome to TCS.

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty. To get whatever advice the board members can give you would be better posting this in the Health and Nutrition forum. You could try going into your post and copying the text - then make a new post in the appropriate forum.

If you need help let me know. Good luck with your kitty.

Aw what a cute collar! She looks happier in it than Baylee would ever be... and cuter too (don't tell Bay tho)!

Thanks Ari - Bay's so beautiful she'd look gorgeous in anything. As for being happy in it - she doesn't have any choice, it's part of our contract with the rescue organisation, that's why she has to have a new tag too.

Really? Why? I've never heard of that before.

I'm not sure that all branches do it and I didn't think to ask at the time. But I think it's so their home can be easily informed in case the cat is found anywhere and to alert the finder to the fact that the animal is microchipped.

I suppose after 9 years one could say - would they know whether the cat has a collar or not - but if we break the contract and they were to know they could (in theory) repossess the cat and certainly would not let us adopt another should we want to.

Ah. Well then it's best you do as your told... luckily you can pick out a fashionable collar just like the one she's wearing!

Oooh Beth those are great! I want the pink gingham for Baylee... and the Flower Power one for her too... I bet Dillon would want the Green Camo one for Max, he likes his boy to feel manly lol.

Right now we don't put collars on our two... Max has never had to and Baylee can only stand the Beastie Bands. I found some cute ones for each of them that I might order and let them model when I can afford it.

Aww - they'd look lovely.

We don't put one on Lily or Adelaide - Addie's scared of the bell. But she keeps chasing our chickens so she might need one yet

What a cute little wet shiny nose you have, Tippy!!! The collar suits you well. I really like the Teddy Bears and hearts! There's nothing like a gal with fashion sense!

Before I found TCS I didn't know you could get such beautiful collars - they always had the usual run of the mill things from the pet store - I was so thrilled to find these lovely sites.

I hope they stay looking good like yours have done.

Carrie - thank you.

Jan - mine are ok with collars - they don't lose them - occasionally they manage to get rid of their name tag. They do tend to scratch them though and they end up looking ragged long before I get round to changing them
