My cat LOVES me??

Hello! I have an odd q about my cats behaviour - hes a 9 month old kitten, who lurrves getting his belly and chest rubbed. The only thing is whenever I rub near his belly, his little widget comes out! So what does this mean? Is it like birds, where you shouldnt stroke them on the back cos it stimulates mating behaviour, and ? Or is that just him showing me hes happy??

He has been showing signs of 'coming of age' mating behaviour already...

Most cats become sexually mature at 6 months of age.. the petting probably does stimulate him. Please get your cat neutered though, for his health as later in life he may get prostate problems or chronic UTI.

will this lead to behavioural problems or otherwise? We are planning on getting him neutered, but we would like 1 litter from him and our female cat - in the meantime would it be better not to pet him in this way?

Yes it could very well lead to behavoural problem (the not getting him neutered right away). There is a reason un-neutered male cats ending up[ living outside instead of in homes (with the exception of breeders who keep their Tom's in seperate rooms or even buildings).
