I know that there have to be a few procrastinators out

So last February I finally got sick of my early 90's wallpaper decor in my family room. Yes February 2004. So I started removing the wallpaper. Well we were still spending time away settling my F-I-L's estate, then spring and gardening season rolls around. !st thing you know its Fall, we have the new fancy garage/workshop, then the mishap with Sheba wow is it Christmas already. New Years resolution-finish family room-wallpaper half off no pictures. So finish taking off wallpaper, I have to serios wall patching. Did interesting wall texturing technique with drywall joint compound-yes earlier this month. Reprimed-lets pick out color-Benjamin Moore's "concord Ivory' (color is like the flesh of a mango.) Plus a faux technique and colors I chose Benjamin Moore's "fresco" basically mixing two colors w/glaze in the roller pan, roll on and dab with cheesecloth-soounds hard actually took about 2.5 hrs!!. All I can say is WOW

Of course now I need new pictures, accessories, furniture-honey can we go shopping this weekend????????????
I don't know why I waited so long!

Yay! It sounds pretty, & a great excuse to spend some money! Paint beats wallpaper any day- be sure to post some pics!
