Here in the Los Angele area we have been having many severe storms, as you probably know. In Highland Park, a suburb of Los Angeles, they are being hit particularly hard with these storms. Several homes are red tagged and could slide down a hill at any time. Below one of these hills, is a horse stable, where the horses are in danger of the hill sliding down on top of the horses. The stable owners were concerned about the safety of the horses, so they found a place they could temporarily keep the horses in South Pasadena. It was just a temporary situation, to make sure the horses wouldn't get buried alive. Well..... they ended up having to take the horses back to the dangerous stable, because the people in the neighborhood complained about them being there. This just gets my temper steaming. How could these people be so cruel to send these beautiful horses back to danger, just because they didn't want the temporary inconvinience of having them around. Yes, they probably would go to the bathroom, but horse manure can be cleaned up. To me, it's just a minor inconvinience in order to ensure that these beautiful animals won't end up getting killed.
