The American Airlines Plane Diverted from NY to DFW

I went to my ladies' Bible Study this morning and found out some interesting news. Last week, a mission group from our church went to NY City to help out there (opening a new church and witnessing to the firemen on Ground Zero). This group included our Senior Pastor, a number of our other ministers, and a group of people from the congregation. Well, it turns out that they were on the flight from NY City to DFW that was diverted due to a bomb threat on Monday night. The lady that found the note (Rose) was a member of my church who is very active in the ministry. She ended up breaking her ankle on the way down the chute. Our pastor and Rose were on the news talking about the incident. (Seems I missed it because it wasn't on the channel that I typically watch.)

Anyway, this incident really brought this whole mess home to a lot of people. Very disturbing. But thank God they're all safe and there was no bomb on board.

I agree, this is very sad. It is sad that things have to be like this.
I am glad they are safe, though.
