Hi all. I'm new, and I have a question about strange insects. My cat's been itching for about a month so I thought he had fleas, but the bugs I've seen around and on him are definitley not fleas. They're a little bit bigger and they fly. It's very odd. Any insight on this would be great. Thanks.

Mosquitoes? Flies? Termites aka "flying ants"?
this might sound stupid but are they definitly flying and not jumping really high?
I have never heard of flying bugs like that on cats so I have no idea..
