My 4 cats do NOT get along! My original cat is a tripod and when I brought my second cat in (first rescue) number 2, Kotton, decided it should be a one cat only family, and proceeded to try to make my original cat, Corkie leave! She would go after her and whack her every chance she got.

At that time I would yell at her and my blessed Dog, who was a REAL PEACEMAKER, would bark and get between the two cats. Now days Kotton still hates Corkie but gives her wide berth! Kotton is afraid of her now but still hates her, AND NOW Kotton goes after my 4th cat (3rd rescue) Missy! Kotton IS afraid of Missy too but if she (Kotton is upset or if she sees Missy too close to me) she goes after her and whacks her on the head. Needless to say both Missy and Corkie are terrified of Kotton BUT are slightly afraid of each other too!

My 3rd cat, Benji (my second rescue) likes everybody and he and Corkie get along fine as he WAS teasing her by chasing her and she got angry and went after him. Guess that is what he wanted her to do as he treats her so kind.

He IS a stinker though who tries to escape all the time and delights in chasing and "attacking" his "sisters". He runs after them and jumps on them. Kotton HATES him but Missy goes right back after him till he just gets too much.

I DO stop Benji but sometimes I am not near enough.

So Benji is not the problem but the three girls ARE. Is there any way to at least make Missy and Corkie be comfortable with each other when I am not near them. If I could get Kotton to be I would be so happy I would should Hooray from the rooftops!

Not knowing your living conditions, but cats need space and territory and putting so many animals together like that you are bound to have conflict. It doesn't sound like you have life threatening contact, just the cats trying to figure out where they fit within the structure. You can create more space in your home with cat posts, cat ramps and window perches. Make sure your cats don't share anything, not toys, bowls or litter pans.

I have thought about it but we just love each other too much. I think my late Minnie sent her to me so I would stop crying over her (Minnie's) death!

My Home isn't large but it does have 3 bedrooms and a living and dining room, and Kotton can go out to the back yard anytime I am home in the day time.

As for Kittyposts
I have 3 in the kitchen and a kitty window shelf on the outside kitchen window. One post in the dining room (for NOW
) 2 in the living room and a window shelf in between. Then there is one 6 footer in my bedroom with 2 window shelves, a floor to ceiling one with another window shelf in the second bedroom and finally a 5 foot one and a 4 foot one in the 3rd bedroom. Also plenty of chairs and two snoozer beds on the kitchen's butcher block table!

Kotton is learning to leave Missy alone and knows better than to bother Corkie so if only Corkie would stop being afraid of Missy those 2 could be friends and Benji too! Kotton HATES him because he won't lay off of her! LOL!

Your second photo looks like they are playing.

The first one looks like an ensuing argument over the spot. It happens often in my home too and they settle it among themselves.
Your situation is not as bad as it looks, IMO. They're still deciding their place in the home. Kotton's obviously telling everyone she wants to be boss but I think she knows that Missy and Corkie won't agree to it. And all three don't seem to want to enter into a violent confrontation which is a good sign.

That is MR Benjamin (Benji aka BenjiMineO) with poor Kotton. I have Not figured out if he is playing, teasing or being nasty! Sometimes when he does this I would SWEAR he has a grin on his face! He also does it to Missy, but while Kotton screams and runs, Missy bats him back. I KNOW he does not like that and then he DOES get mean!

He and Missy get along pretty well. Missy is ill and very delicate and kind. Corkie of course is used to Kotton's meanness so she is a bit afraid of Missy, as she thinks Missy is the same as Kotton. If ONLY I could get her to realize Missy would NEVER hurt or boss her.
