Lord, I know that feeling! I'm sitting here at almost 8:30 pm, and it is still 65 degrees! But, no matter how long we've been seeing them, those are still one of my favorites!

YAY Fran That sure looks nice, but I really do think we're going to get walloped in March. Our ski areas have NO snow. Zilch. We usually have 70-90" base by now, Mt. Baker has about 120" yearly and they have nothing!

Very pretty...a few hours south of you, I have primroses & crocus blooming and my plum tree is about to burst into color.

It's the only one. And every year when it pops out, I grin.

The forsythia is about to burst, and so is the quince, but there's just something about that one lone mini-daff, hiding under the juniper!

The weather here in Tennesse is so crazy too!!! One day its like 70 degrees and the next day it's 48!!
I noticed today that some dogwood trees have started to bloom and some flowers also!! The sad thing is...at night it gets down to 30 something. I read somewhere on CNN the other day that they are predicting this is going to be the hottest year since weather was recorded. So, who knows?? All I know is that it's going to be hot as the dickens and all the pretty flowers are going to be dead!!!

It is lovely to see the first signs of spring!

There are some Daffs and Crocus out down the road and they really cheer the place up! I have just planted up a pot of Primroses to brighten up my balcony!

Okay! I usually wait until March 1 to hang out my daffodil flag (St. David's Day - patron saint of Wales whose symbols are the daffodil & the leek), but I think I'll put it up today (even though they're predicting wet snow for this evening). All of mine have buds and I think one is thinking about blooming soon - I can kind-a see some yellow. The quinces are just starting to green-up. Only a few more weeks for us until spring busts out!
