Awwwwwww poor Leo

Sophie goes to the V-E-T on the 8th of march for her 6 month post spay check up, then both her and Rosie are there for their yearly checkup and booster, Sophies not too bad but Rosie gets nervous, and both of them hide under the blanket

That'll be fun!, and i have to get another cat carrier.

Mine aren't too bad at the vet's; it's the car ride that stresses them so much. My vet lets them sit in the windowsill while they are waiting. I think it helps.

awwww.... I don't know any kitty that enjoys the vet..
*hugs to all kitties*

Leo does okay in the car... he does cry but its not until we're half way there.. I'll look over at him in his big cage and he's rolling around... : ) When we get to the vet and Leo's on the tabel, I can tell he's scared because his paws are leaving sweat marks on the tabel... Poor guy..

But Doctor Taylor picks him up and loves him.. Leo lets him.. I think Leo does really well with people because I've held him so much from kitten hood on.. You can touch his feet and front paws and he won't flinch or bite.. nothing.. He's a good baby.. : )

Yearly Check ups are good...

I hope all the vet checkups go well for everyone!!!!!

Hope Leo doesn't get too stressed at the vet's.

My gang don't enjoy it either specially since they're the only felines in the clinic everytime we go. Most of the patients are doggies.

Simon does.

He likes to ride in the front seat. He has his harness on, so I string the seat belt through it, and it holds him in the seat. Or he wants my lap and wants to help me steer. I usually tuck him down my coat front, wrap the belt around both of us, and he gets his paws on the steering wheel and drives. We get lots of looks from people. And I know Simon is loving it; he talks the whole time. I'm just waiting for him to give the driver that cut us off the finger...

At the vets, he walks around (again, on his harness and lead), and says hello to everyone. People, cats, dogs, whomever and whatever happens to be there too.

In the examination room, this wee guy is just hanging out, talking, relaxed, and ready for whatever. He lets the vet palpate his belly, play with his tail and feet, and look at his teeth with no fuss. I am always where he can see me, but I know he likes the vet because she fusses over him, rubbing her face on his, stroking his chest and scritching. He doesn't even realize he's getting an exam. He's not fond of shots, but who the heck is???

And then on the way home, we always go to the local pet store, where they make a fuss about him too, and give him treats.

He's weird. None of the others are like that, though. I wish he'd talk to them...

Best-
Michele
