A friend of mine in November dropped off 6 cats, I have tried to take care of them, but our new landlord has just informed us, no animals at all. Please e-mail me if you can help. there are 3 adult males, none of them are fixed. and 3 females - one who gave birth to 8 kittens on dec. 31. so i have a total of 14 felines that i have to get rid of. please if anyone can help let me know. I wish to find them good homes for they are sweet gentle cats and I do not wish for them to be destroyed. they need and deserve a good loving home. thank you

Holy Smokes! Some friend you have! You are well on your way to being a cat hoarder without trying. It will be difficult for you to place these cats until they are spayed or neutered. The males will be aggressive and they will spray (depending on the age) and they will try and breed any female they can in the group.

I would contact a rescue group in your area, and keep hounding them until they help you. Some organizations are so busy they can't return calls quick enough. Also contact the local animal shelter and see if they have room for them. Katie left you some good links-

Good luck!

I find some one to take all of the cats, all 14 of them, and they will get adopted out to good homes.

wow, that was fast! Glad to hear you've found a group to help you. Was it one of the listings Katie sent you or one you found on your own?
