Hi guys, I know I haven't posted in a while, life has gotten very busy! LOL
I hope everyone is well....
I'm posting because a member in another forum I go to experienced something awful with their poor puppy, and I wanted to warn any dog lovers out there.... this link leads to the details along with graphic photos of the surgery to remove greenies treats lodged in the dog intestines.

Take care everyone!

The dog swallowed to large of chunks of the Greenies and caused an impaction. Any toy or chew could cause this if you have a dog that has a tendancy to swallow large pieces. Also you should buy a larger size if you have a dog like this, I have a 13 pound italian greyhound who I have to buy the largest size of greenie available.

I may be a new member and don't use those for any pets here but I just have to say, ban those things!!
I don't know of any other plants that make them, but the one in Lee's Summit (Kansas City), Mo. I seriously wouldn't dream of putting in any animals mouth. And please don't ask why, I had to work there for a week!

You're absolutely right, of course any treat can be dangerous if left totally unsupervised, but I thought it would be prudent to show people how important it is to buy appropriate treats and keep an eye on them.
