I found a Ragdoll Kitten at Last!

Hi Everyone

As some of you may know I have been looking for a ragdoll kitten in the Uk. And I tell you now it was no easy job but I have finally found one and I am so happy and excited. Thank you all for any help you gave me and I can't wait to show my baby of to you all. Let me tell you a little about him

He is a Blue Ragdoll Kitten, born in Essex area. I don't know lots about him but I have some pictures of his mommy's litter with him in there. I will try and post some pictures soon I promise! At the moment he is about 8-9 weeks old and will be ready for me to take him home on the 29th March. *YAY*

Now all i have to do is think of some names, if anyone can help in this department feel free to suggest away.... Also if any of you know where I can find some info on blue ragdolls that would be great.

I am going to see my little boy on Friday even though he is a few hours away. I couldn't wait till 29th March anf the lovely lady who breeds them said it was ok for us to pop up and spend some time with him. I am so very excitted and will be taking a camera to take lots of photo's. I might even think about taking something to leave with him from me like a toy or blanket or something.

Anyway thats my great news, i will post some pictures asap. Its just only a few days ago i got a virus and lost everything on my computer so i am busy putting anything we did have backed up back on my computer. So watch this space and I'll get pictures up soon :-)

Names? Oooh good luck! I always wanted a blue raggie and wanted to name him Skylar, or Skylar Blue. But I'm sure you'll pick something equally fantastic!

Mmmm quite like the sound of something like Sky or Skyler...Do you think it sounds male enough? Me and my partner also like Archer but I am sure when I meet him it will be easier to name our little boy. Anymore suggestions welcome

I always thought Skylar sounded manly enough! Besides, he won't know! I'm sure his name will jump out at you when you meet him. My favorite boy names (for cats) were always Skylar, Simon and Toby. Just FYI.

Photo's of my little boys brothers and sisters and he is in there somewhere too. The lady says the lighter one is my blue ragdoll kitten. Which confuses me slightly as i thought he was meant to be blue but maybe he does when he gets older. Anyway he is very cute

Awww! They all look precious! And don't worry, he'll definitely get blue as he gets older! It's amazing how much they change, how dark they get, within the first year!

Do you have a blue ragdoll then? or know anywhere I can find out about them?!

Aw I wish I had a ragdoll. I always dreamed of owning a blue ragdoll... do you know what kind he is? Colorpoint or mitted?

It takes about 2 years for their colors to fully darken and I think sometimes another 2 years after that for them to be fully grown!

Sorry I can't find any other examples right now since I'm stuck at work - but I've been in love with Raggies for I think 2 years now... I've done a LOT of research and investigating!

Thank you for that, I know i will love my kitty whatever colour he is but me being stupid expected him to be more blue. But I am not complaining as I like the white color too.

I am so excited about meeting him on friday...I wish the week would hurry up :-)

name him Chelsea (my dads favorite football team!) coz they play in blue! or you could look up how to pronounce blue in other languages for something a bit different. i want a ragdoll too but i gtuess i have to wait until i move out
