Hubby and the new scratching post

One of our scratching posts was getting a little weather beaten - the carpet was disentigrating into little rose colored puffs everywhere, every day. I mentioned to hubby that not only did they need a new one, that I thought the previous one was a bit too short (little over a foot) and that the cats couldn't stretch all the way out. A few days later I come home to this! Hubby really does listen.

Great new scratching post, and it looks like you already have a "taker"!

Max has never met a scratching post he didn't like! The first one we brought home - he immediately walked up to it hugged it like "Finally, I have been waiting ages for this post!" - He does it with each new post we get. He is the poster boy for scratching post.

Very cool!! Such a nice papa!! We've done basically what you've done with tree branches, but only cover the base. Never throw away any yard debrie!!

Sometimes men can surprise us can't they? I'm sure that your babies appreciated the new scratching post!!
