I scouped some up with both hands and brought it in(only hope the neighbours didn't see!
)and put it on the drainer next to the sink where they were.

They both gave it a good sniff, pawed at it, then Sophie started licking it!
I then made up small snowballs and slid them towards them. Rosie flicked one off onto the floor and started batting it all over the kitchen

Sophies just watching it melt now going down into the sink, i wonder what she's thinking?!

"Hmmm, strange stuff!"??? I bet it's an exciting experience for them, just like for a small child. Our practical joker (I swear he knows what he's doing) will go out on the balcony and roll in it, and then join us under the covers in bed. Okay, maybe he's just cold, but it strikes me that he always waits until we're asleep to do it.

I remember in the 70s, one winter in London when it snowed and my Sheba (RB) had never seen snow. She went out in the morning, looked puzzled and then tried to dig a hole to do her stuff. She squatted, shivered, and rushed off to dig another one. The poor cat did that all over the garden before she could hold out no longer. I did laugh, but I felt sympathy for her - imagine us having to do that! That was when I got her a litter box - we didn't think about such things for indoor/outdoor cats then.

Aww Sophie sounds so cute, have you taken a picture of her looking at the snow with fasionation? It could be a real nice memory to keep forever. Neither of my babies have seen any snow but I look forward to when they do to see if they react in the same way.

I can totally understand how it must be a fustration to you though *warm hugs*

Love Eva x

I've taken one with my camera phone Eva so i'll get one of the guys at work to download it for me.

Sophies looking up at the sky watching it fall and Rosies just looking straight out at it

Awww, Sophie! It must be so exciting for you!

Tibby and Molly experienced snow when they were a couple of months old!
They were so funny with it when they watched it! Then when I took them out on their harnesses they were leaping and playing and trying to avoid the snow!!

Susan, we haven't had any yet *touch wood we don't* It sounds like you are in for quite a lot! Warm
to you!

At least you know that Rosie and Sophie won't be getting bored while you are out at work!

I am so surprised that we haven't had snow yet too! Usually when you get it, we get it or at least it comes down to us??

We haven't actually had a lot of snow at all, so far! *touches wood again* I hope it stays away too! I don't think it's as cold here as you, it was 4 yesterday! But still VERY cold! I hope your snow melts soon!
