Would you be upset??

Tomorrow is my son's birthday party. His father is flying up here in the morning for it. His plane gets in a little after 10 am, and the party is at 1. he and I are supposed to be riding together. He has rented a rental car, and is supposed to pick me up after getting the rental and we are to be at the party location at noon. Thing is... I've barely talked to him this week, and I STILL havent heard from him today. He does not have my address, or the address of the place the party is at. I cant seem to get ahold of him, and I am starting to be a bit pissed off!!! I have to get my address to him and of course discuss details. I also asked him if he is going to stay here this weekend, and he said that he didnt know.. I mean... ::censor::censor::censor:: ?!?!?!

How would you all handle this, and would you be pissed off too???

I would be angry as well!
If you don't speak to him is there anyway you can be at the airport to meet him (obviously only if you know his flight, ect)?
Other than that I really don't know what to suggest~

Oh, you bet I'd be POd! I'd be hopping mad! All too easy to imagine scenarios such as he's been guilty of in the past -- God forbid! I'm sorry I can't offer any more constructive advice than Ash has already given -- seems about the only thing you can do, though why you should be put in that position is the million dollar question!

I hope you arent confusing him with my ex-husband.. the one who was a complete jerk to me and cheated. I'm just plain POed, though!!! He STILL hasnt called. We just talked the other day about him being here and whatnot. but geez! Not calling me the day before to go over specifics???? This is just plain rediculous!!!

Ah, perhaps I was! OK, I'll calm down some -- but only some. Yes, I'd still be upset, where the boy's birthday celebration is at stake.

ok... I just spoke with his mom, who says that I shouldnt worry.. that most likely, he'll get off the plane, get the rental then give me a call.

What I dont get is WHY CANT HE COMMUNICATE WITH ME? WHY DOES HE HAVE TO WAIT TILL LAST MINUTE???

His mom just called to say that he had called her to say that his flight was delayed, and that he would be getting in a bit later than expected. I guess he is going to follow his family out there. I'm trying to figure out why he didnt call me to tell me this, but oh well... he'll be there. Our son is going to be happy.
