Moving Water/Food Dish

Hi,
My cat takes it upon himself to move his water and food bowls. He'll just stick his paw in and start dragging it. He'll only drag it about 2-3 feet away, but it's getting really annoying; he'll move it right in front of the door so when I come home, I trip over it spilling his food/water everywhere. How do I get this to stop? Any suggestions?

to TCS. What are the bowls made of? You could probably try heavier bowls, or buy ones that are in a metal or heavy wooden stand. Or make a "feeding station" - take a big cardboard box, put it on its side, and put the bowl in it.
