Im just curious to know what your kitten/cats favourite toy is?
I have spent pounds on buying my boy toys, from cuddly mice, balls cat nip toys,etc...and a pyramid he is suppose to play in...!
But on my sons last birtday,he decided it would be fun to flick the drinking straws into a newspaper, and rip it to shreds while trying to get it out...
Then he will proudly walk round the room with his straw held tightly in his mouth, only to go back and do it again.
He plays this game for ages, and doesen find it amusing if you take his straw away.

Needless to say a packet of straws is a item regulary found on my shopping list.
And his other toys just lay neglected in the corner of the room.
Has your feline friend got any strange toys????

Waffle's favorite toys are small toy mice, hair ties, and little balls of fuzz. Hair ties are her absolute favorite though. She'll fetch and dive all over the room for those!! My roommate is always complaining because no matter where she hides her excess hair ties, Waffle always finds them!

My cats universally like chasing a lunge-whip left over from my horse days; they prefer it to the "teasers" sold especially for cats. My kitten JC loves wrapped candies & cough drops - he tosses & chases them, then carries them around by the little "tail?", sleeps with them, wakes up, takes them out & tosses them. The other day, he snuck a cough-drop out of my daughter's purse, played with it and then dropped it into a water bowl (the one preferred by my 2 older cats). Apparently the lozenge added an unpleasant taste to the water, because both my girls were meowing at me, and I thought they wanted an extra can of wet food. When I went to the feeding station, Icy sat next to the water dish, looked up at me & meowed loudly, and AHA! I found the wet wrapper in the water dish!
By the way, this is a great thread!

My cat Marsh actually likes cat toys - his laser pointer is an absolute farovite! He also loves DaBird flyer and will play with it for as long as my arm still has feeling in it
furry mice, balls, those plastic rings with a ball in them - he likes everything

Hammie loves the furry mice, but only if they are the flat-fur kind and not the long-fur kind. He chews off the tails and drowns them.

Zorro likes glowing things... laser pointers, flashlights, even rays of sunlight that dance when the sun shines thru the trees and makes weird shadows on the wall.

Snickers loves BIRDIES. Anything with a feather is a BIRDIE. My featherduster got the crud beat out of it the other night when I left it laying around.

They all love the "catnip sock". A white sock I stuffed with catnip & tied with a green satin ribbon. It is no longer white due to being drooled on & played with so roughly but my kid & I always make a bet of where the sock will end up in the morning after we seeing it lying about at night.

Milkrings... boxes... paper bags... toilet paper rolls...

Each of my cats has their favorite toys. Monty really loves sparkle balls, the pompoms with tinsil in them. He simply goes CRAZY for them. Diamond loves the stick toys that I buy at the shows, I have a severe addiction to them too. If I see a new one I have to buy it. At the last show I was at I probably bought 12 toys (it was the International so their were lots of new vendors with cool toys) and this past weekend I bought 4. I have to buy a new one every weekend. Diamond feeds my addiction because she is so cute when she plays. Ali loves anything that makes a lot of noise, she is just a tiny girl but she loves the big fluffy stick toys that a bigger than her. The other cats don't really have favorites, they have ones they like but Monty, Diamond and Ali are my big players.

My cat has many toys. Ranging from crumpled up balls of tinfoil, to balls of fur, and beyond. He loves this cat toy that hangs on a string though. There is catnip inside of it, that's probably why he likes it so much. He has had it since he was a kitten and still never gets tired of it. Do you people leave all of your toys out at one time? I used to, but now I leave only 2 or 3 toys at a time and switch them every day or two so he gets a variety and won't get too bored.
My cat also plays lots of sports. Well, kind of. He plays baseball. We throw a ball near him and he'll hit it and run around in circles. Sometimes we get a bottle cap and put it on the hard floor. He keep pushing it around until he tries to shoot on me like in hockey. He is really quite smart!

Oh, and also. One time for his birthday I got a piece of cloth, put lots of catnip on it, and tied it up with a pipecleaner so the catnip is inside. He bats it around lots, but mostly he just sits there, holding it between his paws like a squirrel, sucking on it. Sometimes it's dripping wet.

CJ and Billy's favorite toys are this dangle toy that has very colorful feathers on the end, and a jingle bell... they LOVE that! Also, they like this refillable cat nip toy that has stimulating cat nip inside... it becomes soaked with slobber!!!

None of my cats really play with toys that much, except for strings getting pulled across the floor and that kind of thing. But Rat T has a toy that she really LOVES. She carries this thing everywhere with her. Wherever she sleeps, that's where it will be the next morning. I've never seen a cat this attached to something. Anyway, it's - well, it "used to be" - a wire with a white mouse on one end and feathers on the other. Well, the feathers got eaten off and the mouse is extremely chewed up, and we can't find the toy anywhere now to buy her a new one. So we bought some of those furry toy mice that come like 3 or 4 to a pack and tied them onto the wire by their tails and we put duct tape on the other end of the wire to keep her from hurting herself. Doesn't look like much, but she still loves it. She's absolutely crazy about this thing. Here's a picture of her with it:

I thought my cat Princess was the only one to go nuts over cough drops and candies. She searches every purse that enters the house for cough drops or candies. She is very nosey.

My other cat Patsy likes pens and nail files. She will chase them around for a while then stash them in her kitty condo for safe keeping.

All my cats like strings, milk rings, flying bugs, and anything the others have. They will not all play together. George is the only one that like catnip. I've spent a fortune on toys (they have 2 giant toy boxes full) and they all prefer something they "steal" or think they shouldn't have.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
Sierra and I enjoy interactive toys such as her toys suspended from strings on poles and her Cat Dancer. She especially enjoys her catnip teddy bear and loves playing with a drinking straw! Her favorite toy right now is one that broke a little while back. Now, it's just a string on a pole, and Sierra has a blast chasing it around! She gets it in her mouth and walk off proudly with it with me following behind her!
Her most unique toy is probably her sea shell that had been brought in off the beach. She claimed it a while back and enjoys batting it around! She also has fun with a walnut still in the shell, and always has a paper bag open to play in!

Probably Cat Charmer, since he drags it from room to room.
Sash has alot of toys but he loses interest quickly and just creates his own things to have fun with.
