Guys needs some help please?

Hmmm, spam, I don't even like to eat that stuff I am on here very late as well, so if I see any, I will be sure to let you know. I haven't seen any so far, however.

It's sad that some people just HAVE to ruin the fun for everyone! Makes me mad! But, instead of finding out who they are, sending threatening letters, and stalking them on the phone, I'll just tell you! Just kidding!

Thanks guys and in the morning and the day and early evening just hit the report button. Just consider me the night owl patrol on this subject-

The report button is at the top of every post. It's a triangle with an exclamation point in it that looks like this:

I have probably the most stupid question of all... what are spammers? I thought they were just people that sent spam email. Can they make "spam" post, too? Guess I'm having a technologically slow day!

spammers are individuals who go to popular forums and post self promoting or pornographic links-

Make Money and Home, Free Vitamins, Learn to Be a Preacher, or they leave scriptures, tell people they are going to hell, do chain letters- who knows why but they do.

Wow I had never seen any until today... why do people think that we WANT to see thread after thread of advertisements? How obnoxious, thanks for taking care of it so quickly Deb!

I have added hissy on as a Lounge mod so that she, too, will get Report Post notifications. It really is the easiest way to report when something inappropriate is on the boards, as you can include an explanation and it gives the mods the link to the thread in question. I wouldn't advise anyone to post to these threads or click on the links they post. Some have already reported computer trouble after clicking on the links. Report the post, and it will be taken care of by the first moderator who gets to it.

I've seen perhaps or or two since being a member at TCS for nearly two years! Our mods are on the ball!
