Hello everyone, my name is Renee and my girls are Yin and Yang. They are from the same litter and I've had them for about 5 1/2 years, since they were about 4-5 months old. I'm not sure of their heritage - they appear to be a mix of Maine Coone, possibly Angora and who knows what else. I made several visits to this site before I actually joined a few weeks ago, I just hadn't made it back to introduce myself. It's a great resource for all kinds of information. In fact, I'll be heading over to some other boards after I finish this to see what info I can find about my latest predicament. I wish I had found this site when I first got my cats, but I am ever so grateful that I found it now and to the people responsible for keeping it going.

Welcome, I love the names of your cats, I've been wanting to get 2 cats one male, one female, one black and one white, and name the Yin and Yang.

Wow Heidi, you live in Lakewood. I live in the west side of Denver (close to Sheridan), this is the first time I have seen someone in the same area.

Thanks to all for the welcome.

To Petnurse, I can't take credit for my kitties' names...the person I got them from had already chosen them. Even though they aren't male and female, or black and white for that matter, the names do seem to suit them perfectly. Even though they are from the same litter, their personalities are like night and day. Yin is brave, feisty and very vocal while Yang is shy, timid and meow's so softly that sometimes I can't even hear her.

I have a white male named Milo and at my clinic I have a black female named E-Z, but they are a year apart. Watching them play is what gave me the idea Milo is good and mellow, while E-Z is wild and out of control.
