My original reply was going to be "UM... YEAH" Then when I went to explain my answer, I couldn't.

I don't think it's necessary (necessarily
) because there are a lot of very successful people in this world who never went to or didn't finish college. However, I DO think that it's a great tool to give a person an advantage and a headstart in the business world. Plus, some companies only hire/promote people with college degrees.

I think it depends greatly on your age and experience and where you choose to work. Let's put it this way, if you are young and trying to get on at a larger corporation, you can't even get your foot in the door. Maybe at a small company it wouldn't be the same. Although if you are older and already have a lot of experience then I'm not so sure it's important at either place although probably helpful.

I would agree that it depends on where you choose to work. I work with a few people who don't have college degrees. But they've had experience, like I have had, and that's what employers look for. Then again, there are some careers where you obviously need one.

It really depends on what job you want. I want to be a pet groomer. I also want to work at a University studying animal bonds... I want all kinds of jobs having to do with animals. Some require collage, some don't.

I believe that it depends on your chosen Career path. As a Behvoral Health Tech, I do not NEED a college education, but in order to further my career, I will.
