"Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR): Stray and Feral Cats and You"
February 24, 2005
New Freedom, PA

WHERE: ST. JOHN LUTHERAN CHURCH; 175 .E. MAIN STREET, NEW FREEDOM, PA

WHEN: THURSDAY. FEB 24, 2005; 7PM - (SIDE ENTRANCE)

ALL AREA RESIDENTS ARE WELCOME TO ATTEND THIS INFORMATIONAL PRESENTATION

York County Feral Cat Coalition announces a public information seminar, open to all in the New Freedom area, to inform residents of humane and effective methods for dealing with stray and feral cats. The seminar will address the following topics:

What is a feral cat? What is Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and why is it effective? How can you deal with "nuisance" behaviors?

We invite those who may already be working with a feral cat colony, those who simply feed and care for stray cats, those who have concerns about stray cats, and those who own and love their pets to attend.

A video explaining the benefits of TNR, produced by Alley Cat Allies, the national feral cat resource, will be shown. Literature on the humane management of cats will be available.

Join us for an open discussion of how to humanely get control of the growing numbers of cats in our area; of methods that are working sucessfully all over the country; and of what can be accomplished in New Freedom.

Working together, we can find a caring, effective solution!

Sponsored by York County Feral Cat Coalition, a division of The Humane Society of Southern Maryland, Inc (non profit) and York, PA.
