hello!
i'm carly.. i'm 21 and i have two gorgeous cats called cleo and milo. cleo is a 3year old tabby, and milo is a 2year old ginger furball!
they are both indoor cats, and have never stepped foot outside. i don't know how some people feel on the subject, but i would never like my cats to go out. i've seen far too many dead animals lying on the roadside, that have been ran over and i couldn't bear the thought of that happening to my babies. they are extremely happy animals, they have all the toys & love they could possibly want. they are also stupidly clever - although i guess everyone says that about their pets! cleo can hold a conversation with me.. hehe, sounds strange but its true... and milo plays fetch with a ball. its cute.
ummm.. sorry for rambling, i could talk about them all day long!
i would adopt even more animals if i could, unfortunately i still live with my parents.. haha.. so i have to make do with the cats and my guinea pigs!

Welcome to the site Carly! We could all talk about our kitties all day long, no worries there.
With the exception of those who rescue ferals or live in rural areas, most here are like you and have indoor only cats.
Sounds like you're going to fit in great around here!

Welcome to TCS! You show great wisdom in keeping your cats inside! I hope you can post pictures soon. And Malakai is right, we love hearing all about your furbabies! Is Milo named after the cutie in "Milo & Otis"? And I'm glad to know that I'm not the only one holding conversations with my cats. This afternoon, I left the lid ajar on my crafts box, and my 3 youngest ones ( two are 6mos. & 1 is 1yr.) took out a nearly finished crocheted hat, unraveled most of it, unraveled a new skein of a different color & managed to entangle the whole lot. They were so proud when I got home, I couldn't scold them. (Actually, I was so relieved that they didn't strangle themselves or each other; that's why I keep all yarns locked away.)The oldest, Icy, a muted gray,peach & white calico, sat on the project and meowed her head off, while JC purred and showed me just how they did it! Oh, well, the color scheme worked out better than I would've thought.............

Hi carly and welcome to TCS.

My name is Kendal, I help/work at a shelter. Where I adopt out cats nad care for those brought in. In my spare time I have, I care for over 8 cat sites where I have traped cats, fed them, and also released them in an areas I have personaly fenced in a large area to help lessn the death toll on the road. I also build homes and traps for the cats.

I curently have over 25 cats in care at my home in the large building cages, some are awaiting to be fixed, tamed or in healing quaters from accidents like hit by cars, dog attacks, cat fights, and saddly people abusing them for amusment. I own 19 cats that are not part of the 25.

And not to long ago today 3 of those 19 cats help 6 of them escape, lol. My 3 escape pro's. Don't worry though I have a special fence built around my property just in case and for other reasons, lol.

I hope we can help you through your time with your cats.
