I placed an ad to run tomorrow to find a home for Harley.
He attacks Smokey for absolutely NO reason, all the time.
He is just too hard to handle and I am tired of him attacking Smokey.
I will approve a home before I let them have him.
I will NOT let him go to just anyone!
But it will be much more peaceful around here.

Yes, they are brothers.
I asked the previous owner and she said they have fought like this for a long time.
I hate to do this, but it just has to be this way.

Best of luck in placing Harley. With the hectic activity of the wedding escalating, it is quite a burden for you to have to place a cat as well, but for Smokey's sake, and the tranquility for the other cats, it's probably best. If Harley is gentle with people, maybe there is some dev. delayed boy who would love to have him as a companion cat. And Harley would get to be the King of the Hill, which some cats just seem to want, just like people. My thoughts & prayers for you all - I know it was a difficult decision! Susan

I know how you feel. Buddy is slightly the same way with KC. Just goes after her for no "good" reason other then he apparently is jealous or being territorial. Although they are making progress, I don't feel its fair to her to have to put up with him daily and if he can't be taught otherwise he will have to be relocated as well. I think I can put up with the rest of his antics, but terrorizing another animal is something that just pushes my buttons.

Good luck with Harley and finding him the proper home to give him a carefree life lacking aggression. I wish you both the best.
