So I just got home from class about 30-40 minutes ago. I was just relaxing, sitting here, PMSing a bit (ok a lot) when suddenly there was a knock on the door. I went out and it was the UPS man. So I just assumed it was something my roommate had ordered and signed for it, but when I looked down I saw that it had been shipped from my dad's shop, and sure enough it was for me. Turns out my mom and dad sent me a little Valentine's Day care package.
It came complete with a lovely card, a small bouqet of colorful fake tulips (one of my favorites, these are very pretty and a cute idea, I thought), a box of hot chocolate, a bunch of Rice Krispies Treats, a box of Hershey's Swoops chocolates, and a bag of Hershey's Kisses filled with caramel (YUMMY)!
Talk about a nice surprise, and what a great pick me up for a ho-hum day where I'm busy PMSing hehe.
This has just made me so happy and so I thought I'd share. Little surprises like this are really such huge things to someone's heart. I had a great Valentine's Day, but I haven't seen my family in over a month (a long time for a homebody like me) and I definitely miss them. PMS now over and I'm ready to have a great evening!
