In the past few days i have realised an appetite loss in my cat, it might be the change of dried food but i dont know,
He sleeps most of the time and as i just read that a cats nose should not be wet.
well my kittys nose is very wet, i was sick last week and icould it be that he caught my flu??
He also has an inflamed gum at his left big tooth.
If anyone knows what is wrong with him please reply asap.
Tomorrow im going to the bank and ask for a loan so my kitty can have a full check up.
I'm crying because my bf dreamt that the cat had to be put to sleep and i dont want it to become true because i love him so much and i dont know what to do.

Sometimes my cat's nose is wet, after she's licked it or has eaten/drank. I think what you need to look for is that the cat's nose isn't running-no mucous/discharge coming from the nose. Also, your cat can't catch a cold from you-the cold virus is pretty much human-specific. You are doing the right thing by having him checked up though. Loss of appetite and more sleeping could indicate he isn't feeling well.

Sorry to hear Teufel is not feeling well.
I believe a cat's nose should be moist but not runny or stuffy. That inflamed gum must be the cause of Teufel's misery. Sending lots of get well vibes!

Our cats have had moist and dry noses.. never runny drippy ones though yet. I just assumed that it was natural depending on where they had just stuck their nose last. I wish cats could speak english, it sure would make it easier to know whats wrong with them.
