I'm new to this

Hello,

I am new to all of this. I have a cat named fluffy and a dog named Trixy who both I love very much. My main reason for coming onto this website is to try and find a kitten no more then 9 weeks old with whom I can love and care for. I have been looking for a while now and after two leads falling through i am a little lost. I don't care what the sex is or breed, but I would like to have an orange kitten again no more then 9 weeks old. If anyone out there is reading this and can help me out I would be very VERY greatful! Thanks again and take care everyone!

Why are you looking for one under 9 weeks of age?? The difference between a 9 week old and a 12 week old isn't that great..plus...many groups will want to alter the kitten before it goes into a new home. Those of us in rescue are glad there aren't as many young kittens right now....if you truly want a very young kitten...then you will need to wait until one becomes available.

Welcome to TCS, Malinda, Fluffy & Trixy!! I recommend checking out the posts in the Caring for our Feline Companions, "Cats S.O.S." section. People post there when there are cats looking for a home. You could also go to the website,www.alleycat.org. - they have lists of feral cat rescue groups in all the states. you may find a link to the little cat who is anxiously waiting to join your family. Also, be sure to ask at the feed stores, lots of cats get dumped off near barns & ranches, and the feed stores keep bulletin boards up. Be sure to let us know when you find the new arrival!!!!
