This is soooo Good Amie thanks for sharing the new chapter of this lovely thread!Originally Posted by Emma's Friend
A short update on the little girl: she's home but still in re-hab. My son said that she came to the school for lunch a month or so ago. She's still in a wheelchair but is able to walk a few steps.
He will start kindergarten in August. (He'll be 5 in 3 weeks.) I know exactly what you're saying. It seems like yesterday we were bringing him home from the hospital.Originally Posted by Emma's Friend
I dread the first time a girl breaks his heart. Hope it never happens!
Catherine, is your son in kindergarten yet? It seems like just yesterday and also like 30 years ago that we were walking him in to school. Does that make sense? Like it's close by and also far away at the same time. Treasure your little guy while you can!
Congratulations, Sam!Originally Posted by WellingtonCats
Oh Amie, what a sweet story!
I can share the story of my first love - because he truly was. As most of you know I was going out with Trent, we were "dating" for just over a year. He was my best friend and I'll never forget him. We broke up for lots of reasons, but the main reason was because I liked somebody else and his name is David and on Monday we will have been together for two months!
