Metal Detector

Does anyon e go metal detector treasure huntung? I've been thinking about it since I moved and I have 1 acre of woods - not to mention lots more around.

But where to start? Metal detecor seems logical.... but what kinds?!??!

I had one when I was younger, and I loved to go searching for stuff. I found lots of rusty pliers and even a toy Ferrari. I don't know much about the types of metal detectors though, just that it is fun. Mine was a $200 Radioshack one.

Yep both hubby and I have one. We have found a lot of junk, and a lot of treasures. You really want to look at White's models they are more sophisticated, especially the newer ones, now they show you what is underground before you dig for it. Saves a lot of time and slims down your bottlecap collection
