OK Robert did his income by mail(3 weeks ago). Is it supose to take this long? His mom got hers in a week, i dont know how she did it. We wait for the mail man and all we get is junk mail. I wonder why it's taking so long. Does it take longer by mail? My mom said it takes a week to get there a week to be done and a week to get back. Is this true? I hope it didnt get lost in the mail.

Oh My Job at Wataburger didn't go well at all period. Turns out the early bird manager never knew we were hired, they didn't have the uniform at all for me, I was told tehy give the same day hired. 3 others were hired, including Robert. i WASN'T ALLOWED(oops hit the caps) to work since i didnt have a shirt! The guy didnt talk right, I couldnt under stand a single word he said. He made one girl do dishes one at the drive through and Robert he had to sweep, mop, and do the bathrooms(he quit there) THe guy didnt tell anyone what to do, he expected them to know where everything was at. On top of that we waited an hour for him to get there(we were on time). I went to wait in the car while they worked, I cried. I was suppose to work and be Trained, I couldnt because of a stupid shirt!!! Oh and get this The people training them WERE TRANIES AS WELL!! they didnt know they were going to train us. Robert walked out that day after 30 minutes. They were not perfesional at all.

Income tax refunds by mail do take longer than e-filing. May need to give it another week. I think there is a phone number where you get the status of your refund. Also probably on the internet at www.irs.gov

I recall waiting up to about 6 weeks after filing by mail. I filed by phone this year and got my refund already.

Reality check- a low income minimun wage job rarely gives you top-of-the-line service. If I had a dollar for every toilet I scrubbed in my life, all the floors i swept and mopped and parking lots that i picked up litter for, I would be a rich person. When you are desperate for money and you get lucky enough to get a job, you go there and you do your best. That is when they see what you are made of, when promotions come up they consider you instead of passing you by. But you don't walk out within the first 30 minutes because it isn't going your way. I worked at McDonalds for two days before I had a smock that actually fit me, didn't matter to me, I was selling hamburgers and fries not my uniform. My boss was from India and he was hard to understand, but I went to him privately and asked him to slow down while showing me grill procedures because I didn't understand everything he said. There are ways to work in the system. There are ways to get it to work for you=-

That's the awful truth about it.. If you're stuck having to work minimum wage jobs because you're inexperienced, and unqualified, you get stuck having to deal with crap. I understand that you were given a hard time because you're new, but if you're in a situation and you don't want to work, then you can bet the person that's running the place isn't happy doing wat he's doing, and is going to take it out on you. Personally, I would call the manager that hired you and explain your situation, and how the shift manager wouldn't let you work because of you not having the uniform, and that you had been informed that one would be given to you. If nothing else it will alert the manager that there is a problem with his shift leader. I don't mean complain, but simply ask for a second chance, and also if you could please have a uniform (shirt, whatever) before your shift so that this doesn't happen again.

When i worked in a restaurant i we didnt have uniforms just a white or black shirt with black pants and they provided you with the apron.
They always had problems with me about my shoes because i wore white sneakers. THEY WERENT BAD! they just wanted crappy black unconfortable shoes. I got payed 6 euros an hour, and when they thought i was working too slow they were going to pay me a "fixed" price a month and this is when i quited because i had to devote my life to this restaurant instead of having MY OWN LIFE and wow i was 18 i wanted to go out and spend time with my bf not leaving him at home all day and never having time for him. because my boss was an ass.
But still if i was desperate to work, even mopping and cleaning toilets then i wouldnt quit.
