Got My Camera Ordered!

I ordered the Nikon D70 digital SLR along with 2 lenses, a case, and a few other accessories. I'm SO excited! It should be here probably by Thursday. So be prepared everyone.....there's going to be a lot of new pictures coming soon!

oooh Robin - great camera . I've got a Coolpix 5 megapix and hubby's got a Coolpix 8 megapix - they're wonderful; your's should be better. I'm jealous.

It's my one splurge of the year. Usually, every year when I get my tax return money, I'll buy myself one thing that I really want. Last year, it was my new computer, and this year, it's the camera. Then of course the rest of the money goes to all the other things that I need to do. (mainly bills)

that llooks so similar to the one i was going to buy (still planning to) but its from Kodak it costs 400 euros so i have to look around to see if i can get it any cheaper lol!!

Well I've been wanting a digital SLR for awhile now. I got a really great deal on everything though......only spent about $1,600.....which is good because I was planning to spend about $2,000. So I feel like I got a good deal. I've been shopping this one for about 3 months now.

Oh trust me....I will! But you have to keep in mind....it'll probably take me awhile to learn how to use the darn thing! I looked at one in person at Best Buy....just to get my hands on it....and it's got a LOT of stuff on it! The first pictures I take with it might not be so good.

I'm relly looking forward to seeing the pictures!!!

Kass...you never know....you might find a deal that you just can't pass up. It took me forever to decide between the Canon 20D and the Nikon D70 and it was making my head hurt going back and forth and back and forth. One day, I was sure I was going to get the Canon, and then the next day, I'd change my mind again. The Canon, with the same accessories, was going to be about $700 more....which I could not justify in my mind. I know that the Canon has a few things that are better than the Nikon....but I just couldn't see how they would affect me all that much.

Besides....you do a GREAT job with the camera you have.....so it can't be all that shabby.
