What did your Valentine send you?

For those who want to share....I just received the most wonderful note with 18 gorgeous roses in various colors (from pale green to pink, to yellow, cream with pink edges) and a tiny box of ghiaredelli chocolates)....and knowing dh, there may be a present tonight as well. Though I'm happy as of right now

We went out to dinner on Saturday (too busy on Valentine's day around here), and brunch on Sunday, and we did a very wee bit of slot machine play .

I'm making a very special dessert for tonight, still working on what special meal I will be making for him.

Okay...next? Who wants to share?

Nothing because i havent got one! I tell a lie!, some of my pals here sent me some in pm's

But my Directors daughter who i work with got a £6,000.00 engagement ring!, or she will be tonight when he proposes properly before dinner!

Sigh, nothing here. Don't really expect roses, 'cause I forbade him years ago to send me roses for V-day, 'cause we just don't have the money to do that, I'd rather have a rose bush or something like that. As of yesterday, he admitted that he didn't even have a card for me. 'Course, he's got one thing on his mind right now, and it is safe to say that it is NOT me! <G>

A dessert my mom used to make me as a child which is SO good..it's called a Pennsylvania Dutch Funny Cake...it features a pie crust, with a cake and chocolate sauce filling, and nuts as a topping

I love the idea of a rose bush, then you have roses from it every year

You never know, he may surprise you!

I do know we are two romantic nuts...we celebrated the day we got married, monthly, for years

what i got today was.... waiting in the dentist waiting room for more than an hour!
Bf's wisdome teeth are coming out and it got real infected so he had to have alot of skin pulled out and lots of needles lol!

Well, surpise me he did......he just walked in the door with a dozen red roses and a box of chocolate!!!! He got a "good" deal on the roses, so he told me not to fuss, just to enjoy them !

My boyfriend got me a Special Dark chocolate candy bar because he knows I really like them. He also got me a ring....sort of....I just don't know how to wear it!!!

I got a box of chocolates. I opened them, and put them in the fridge for later. Guess what - I went to get a piece about 30 minutes ago, and they were all gone! Husband's comment: Well, you have to eat them faster!

My fiance got me the movie Shall We Dance, a box of chocolates and 2 cards... one from the cats!
