This news item is suppose to be serious. I mean we are talking about a helpless and scared animal. But its antics made me laugh... Sorry

Things are looking good for the monkey. They are going to dart it with a tranquilizer as soon as it is spotted.

Have any of you ever had "wildlife" visitors causing havoc in your neighborhood?

Nothing they sited as trouble being caused sounded like it warrented killing that poor monkey, I hope they don't do that. So the monkey likes to visit people and break some stuff, big deal.. hes not biting people or anything, hes a monkey!

No, as the article said, killing it is against the law.

People often break the law when it comes to animals. But hopefully it will get trapped and given a new home.

Update : Good news! The monkey was tranquilized and caught. It is now under the good care of the Wildlife Parks.

We have forest on three sides of our town, and an overpopulation of wild boar. They constantly come into town, stroll down Main Street, uproot gardens, etc.. People are used to them, and keep out of their way.
