He is 17 and ready to leave. Hasn't eaten in 5 days, drinks water and wants to be left alone in the corner of the bedroom. Pewter has llost alot of weight and has a stomach tumor and will be put down tommorrow 2/14. He is not in pain and we are both sobbing constantly as this is the sadest day since my Dad passed 5 years ago. Bye Pewter, we both had 17 great years with you and know you will join the rest of your friends soon. How do I attach a photo of pewter?

Aww, I am so sorry to hear about Pewter
Sounds like you've had many good years together and have a great love for her to help her on her way to the bridge. You will be in my thoughts.

Reff, I'm so sorry for what you are going through, and although it's the right thing to do for Pewter, it doesn't make it any easier.

As far as attaching a picture, it's not allowed. However, if you put it on a hosting site like Photobucket, or Image Shack, you can hot link it here, and it will show up. If you are unfamiliar with hosting sites, please feel free to e-mail me the picture, and I can link it for you no problem. Just click on my name above, and it will pull down a menu that shows where you can e-mail. I'm sure we'd all like to see a picture of Pewter.

I'm sorry. I've got a 16 yr old that I'm trying to constantly trying to feed to keep her weight up. My prayers and hugs go out to you. It's so difficult losing an old family member. Too bad they can't live as long as we do.

My heart goes out to you. You and your family will be in my thoughts tomorrow as you help your friend to the rainbow bridge. Be free and happy Pewter until it is time to be reunited with your human family. Hugs to you and yours during this most difficult time.

We recently went through similar with Elmer. I am so sorry for you. Elmer and Boo Boo will expect a new friend at the rainbow bridge and be waiting to show him around. Best wishes.

I know you are sad and sobbing, but he is in pain and well, almost past the point of pain. If he could, he would thank you-

Bless you for releasing him- I will light the candle in the window to show him the way and you will see each other again.

Please vist www.endingpain.info perhaps you will find hope and comfort there-
