Since you are from Ohio too, I have to ask this...where did you see buds in trees? I live in Geauga Co and all I see is snow and the trees show no signs of life. Well, with the rain today and warmer tamperatures, most of the snow is gone. Although I have no signs of plant life that would indicate that spring is even a thought, Amber has shown signs. Amber and Boris change color during the fall and winter months. In fall and winter, Amber is brown with white ticking on the fur. In the summer, she is a beautiful orange color. Well, she is getting her orange back already. Her head and shoulders are orange, this normally doesn't happen until April. So, could this be a sign of an early spring?

How lovely to have a cat that changes with the seasons like Amber. She looks gorgeous by the way.

My kitties have sensed spring too. Felicity was chasing...nothing...around the garden the other day. Just speeding around the garden from one end to the other. This is her "spring" behaviour.

I just LOVE that picture. You have such a beautiful garden, and it looks like you have an equally beautiful home to go with it. Your garden is as lush and beautiful as anything you'd find in the finest homes here in Beverly Hills.

Aww thanks. Of course you know what makes a garden lush - plenty of rain!!!!
now if we could only have some of that Beverley Hills weather we could spend more time in the garden. That's why we built a summer house - somewhere to shelter from the rain
