Funky Winkerbean

Ok, I'm sure with that title someone will read this

. My mother told me just a while ago that she has had "Funky Winkerbean" stuck in her head all day. So she asked me out of the blue "What is Funky Winkerbean?".

I just turned around & kind of stared at her with a strange look and said "What?!? Where in the world did that come from?". So, anyway, my curiosity is up now. Anyone ever heard of it - him - her

- whatever?

Btw, yes my mother is normal and sane and in her right mind. But she will definitely be getting teased about this from me for some time.

Funky Winkerbean sounds like the long lost cousin of Punky Brewster..think I'll google Funky right now.

Looks like Funky is a comic strip that originated in the 1970s. If I did not find anything I was going to suggest hiding all sharp objects from Mom! LOL!

Me too Deb! I used to love Funky Winkerbean! It was actually a pretty funny comic strip.
