Apparantly I'm obsessed with my kitties. My aunt keeps telling me I am, especially because I come on here so much, and I like to talk to the kits all the time. I wouldn't call it obsessed! I can't help it if I love my babies!!

Lol. Yep I get the "you've got no life" or "you need a girlfriend" talks all the time.
All in good fun though. Anyways, it's not a bad thing to love cats!

Peace,
Brandon

Well don't worry, I'm sure no one here will think you're out of the ordinary. Sometimes my boyfriend will say to me, "I swear you love Waffle more than me sometimes." He doesn't mean it of course, but I do think he thinks I'm a bit too into cats.

I think there's a fair bit of that going around on this site!
But given that most cats are better people than most humans, why wouldn't we be obsessed?

Isn't that the truth!!!

I certainly didn't take to heart what she said, I think it's kind of funny actually. If loving my kitties like I do means I'm obsessed, then so be it!! She can think what she wants to think!

Hmmm, would someone say a parent was "obsessed" with their children if they talked about them all the time and went to a website forum where other parents hang out? No, they would say they are good parents.

What's the difference? Most of us see our cats as our kids.

Luckily, I think my family is starting to accept and appreciate my "obsession" with cats, because they've noticed how much happier I am with cats in my life.

My sweetie will tell anyone that we have cats instead of kids. We are both obsessed and totally in love with our furbabies. We joke sometimes that it is a good thing we get along, because we would have a huge custody battle over the cats.

I hang around with people like me - no human kids and cats are our children. Makes the conversations more interesting. My family gave up on me about 25 years ago.

hmmmmm..... I can think of hundreds of other things to be obsessed with and I don't believe kitty cats are damaging to me or anyone around me.
Count all of us in your group or else we wouldn't be here.

YUP! My boyfriend thought that I loved Summer more than him at first, but now he talks about when we could adopt another "child".
