The way I figure it, if any of my friends or family has a problem with how long (or not long) we've been dating, I'll just say that we're having a longer engagement. I always thought that was weird - to have a longer engagement than you spent dating - but it works for me!
Then it's as it should be. Your entire marriage can be a great date if you let it. Who the heck cares what anybody thinks, and your co-workers are only transient in your life, anyway. You deserve every happiness!

What a pretty ring too !

Now you have to go join the crazy addictiveness of www.theknot.com chat boards! I was absolutely glued there for year before my wedding, and truth be told I can still be found lurking around there!

and just PM me if you want to see pictures, because pictures I got tons of -- and they are bonus because Berylayn is in a lot of them too!
hehe

HOW EXCITING!!!!

I've seen some of the pictures, actually! Beryl showed me a few... they looked gorgeous and I loved the little flower bundles they carried!

Thanks to EVERYONE who is offering help... I'll take it! Lol... I know that my mother will want to help, as will my soon to be MIL (ack!) but they both have VERY different tastes than I do and I'm hoping planning won't be a battle! I guess we'll see!

Good point... thanks for reminding me that co-workers are only temporary... I needed that reminder!

So far no one has said anything... but this is the weekend shift and these people aren't as observant. Anyway, you guys have made me feel less concerned about my dumb co-workers so... yay! You guys are fabulous!

Oh and thanks from all of you who recommended www.theknot.com... it's my new favorite site! Don't worry though, TCS will always be home to me!

By the way... I'm having such a hard time getting used to a new ring! Anyone ever have that?

Yep - it took me a while to get used to the new ring. But it soon became a fixture. Then when my engagement ring went in for repair last year, so I was wearing only my wedding ring for a couple of weeks - that felt so odd too.
