Congrats!
Then it's as it should be. Your entire marriage can be a great date if you let it. Who the heck cares what anybody thinks, and your co-workers are only transient in your life, anyway. You deserve every happiness!Originally Posted by pinkdaisy226
Ah that's the question, isn't it? We've been together for about 8 months... but we've always known, which is weird. I never believed in rushing things or love at first sight... I found out last night that he wanted to marry me after our first kiss.
The way I figure it, if any of my friends or family has a problem with how long (or not long) we've been dating, I'll just say that we're having a longer engagement. I always thought that was weird - to have a longer engagement than you spent dating - but it works for me!

theknot.com is a WONDERFUL site. As sad as it is, I have already done a lot of research on that site. Being a bridesmaid in a wedding that was 11/6/04 I helped with a lot of the planning with the bride (actually it was SharonKay's wedding from TCS!) You and Dillion better make a knot page.
I've seen some of the pictures, actually! Beryl showed me a few... they looked gorgeous and I loved the little flower bundles they carried!Originally Posted by SharonKay
AWESOME!!!!
Now you have to go join the crazy addictiveness of www.theknot.com chat boards! I was absolutely glued there for year before my wedding, and truth be told I can still be found lurking around there!
and just PM me if you want to see pictures, because pictures I got tons of -- and they are bonus because Berylayn is in a lot of them too!hehe
HOW EXCITING!!!!

By the way... I'm having such a hard time getting used to a new ring! Anyone ever have that?
