A man walks into a bar and asks the barman for a glass of water. The barman pulls out a gun and points it at the man. The man says 'Thank you' and walks out. Huh?
OK, so if you're interested I have a clarification for the "short" vs. "midget" vs. "dwarf" issue. The word midget is only used to describe someone who is very, very short. Sort of like you might call someone who is over 7 ft a giant. But it is not a medical condition, and most people who are quite short find the term offensive. A "dwarf" (which is another term that some people find offensive) is usually someone with a disease, the most common being achondroplasia, a genetic condition. They usually have disproportionate bodies and other issues that can make walking and other physical activities difficult. The more accepted name is "little people". Just for future reference, so if there are any folks who are little people and are on the site they will feel welcome!
