I can't find my glasses! No one is home, and I checked all of the places where I usually put the dang things, but there nowhere to be found. I even checked around my nightstand incase Chester decided to knock them off of it last night. I just hate looking for something that I can't see...so that I can see.
Anyone have any ideas? If you were a pair of glasses where would you be???
squintingly yours,
Jess

lol! I have that problem when I do wear glasses. Thankfully, I normally wear contacts. And my eyesight is SO bad that it's impossible to look for them when they are lost. I have to have my boyfriend hunt for them.

Look for them in places you wouldn't think... We've learned when my grandma looses something we check the fridge, cabinets, etc. She leaves stuff in the oddest places.

Good luck!!

If you take them off normally by the nightstand - I'd check UNDER the bed. Ocassionally I have thought I put them on the nightstand, but found them in the covers on the bed.

How frustrating, Jess!
It's so annoying when items just walk off and hide like that, isn't it!
It must be especially awful to lose your glasses, just because you can't see to find them! For me, it's my keys that I lose. I have a little hook for them as soon as I walk in the door, and if don't put them there immediately, there's no telling where they'll turn up! Far too many times, I've found them still in the door knob outside!

Sure hope you find them soon!

Oh looks like the borrowers have paid a visit to your house! Half the time I've lost things they are in my hand, my pocket or my eye sight!

I hope you find them soon, I'd recheck everywhere you have looked cause sometimes I loose something and miss it whilst looking and then i find it where I already looked. You could also try on the top of your head, my friend used to wear them and she'd go crazy trying to find them and thats where they were...lol!

Good luck anyways

Any luck? Make sure you don't have shoes on while looking for them - I couldn't find mine last weekend, and managed to step on them and pop out one of the lenses. They either fell, or were pushed, off the bathroom shelf I keep them on (I usually wear contacts).

Movin' on up!
I remember the days (pre-LASIK), when I needed my glasses to find my glasses. At night, I put them inside the headboard (my cats would knock them off of the nightstand). When in the shower, I put them in the medicine chest.

These days, I misplace my reading glasses. I keep several pairs, scattered around the house: on my computer desk, the dining table, in the kitchen junk drawer and in my work backpack. There is also a pair, sitting on top of whichever book that I'm currently reading.

Have you thought about getting a chain and hanging them around your neck?

I never take off my contacts until I find my glasses first. Otherwise....I wouldn't be able to see them either.
I usually keep mine somewhere on the computer desk or in the bathroom.

Hope you find them soon!

I finally found them! It took me all afternoon of looking and re-looking. They were under my bed behind a box, something tells me that someone black and white and furry all over who likes to climb on my nightstand while I"m sleeping put them there.
At least my room is a bit cleaner. Somehow everything seems to bunch around my nightstand and I had to tidy it up to find them.
Oh well, at least I can see now!
....man I wish I could wear contacts

I have done this many times too. Usually, I am running late for work and I can't find my keyes. You think, how the heck can these things just get up, walk away and hide. Then, I open the door and there they are. Still in the lock! I think to myself, boy, that was good. I lock all the doors at night but leave the keys in the lock
