I'm getting a massage, then dinner at 5, watching WVU take on Georgetown, hopefully, then it's off to a party with The WVU Drumline. That's all tonight. I have homework and classes on monday, we're celibrating early. I love "valintines day weekend" hehe

My boyfriend is cooking me dinner, and I'll be making chocolate fondue for dessert (with yummy strawberries and bananas for the dipping). I also got us tickets to Cirque Du Soleil here in Orlando.

Some surprises (or plans) that I LOVE are romantic picnics next to a pretty lake or beach. I know you're in Cali, but not sure what your temps are going to be there on Monday.
I also love getting tickets to a ballet or musical or even tickets to a band I really love, comedian, or basketball game! Above all, no matter what it is, I just like seeing that there was some thought and care. Last year (since my birthday is only a week after V-Day) my boyfriend could only afford to get me some nice chocolates and a card. So, he went to Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory (SUPER YUM) and got me a bunch of seafoam. But the reason this was so special was because he discovered that it was nearly the exact same thing as a candy my mom's family used to send us down from Batavia, NY and was something we had NEVER found anywhere else! So basically, no matter what you do, probably with just a little bit of thought, your Valentine will be thrilled.

Loving my beautiful baby girl
I work the night shift Sunday night, get off at 8am to come home and celebrate with my baby girl, present her special meal and toy and snuggle up as we get some sleep so I can get up and go back in for another night shift.

Hope no one has been brought to tears by the romantic nature of my day!
I really am a romantic at heart, and grab every opportnity to celebrate an occassion, even if it's by opening a can of Merrick, Sierra's favorite special occassion meal!

I'm sure your baby will be thrilled with her Valentine! hehe
...and there are CERTAINLY worse ways to spend it than with a kitty and some sleep!

Yes today (Saturday) is "Valentine's Day for us as well. Brendan and I just have a CRAZY Monday schedule so we decided today would be best. I woke up to a dozen roses this morning!! ( I have gotten 1 dozen red roses on Valentines day since we have been dating
so its like tradition now) then this evening I will be cooking up a nice steak dinner and chocolate covered strawberries for dessert.
YUM! Nothing too special or elaborate this year. Just planning on spending time together.

EDIT: I also got a card to brendan from Ebony (target had vday cards 'from the cat'...she wants to show him how much she loves him too.
