I've been told, they say whatever you admire in a cat (or dog) are the things you wish you had yourself.
Is this true for you?

I admire their beauty, strength, and independence!

No. For me, the things I admire are what I wish to see in other people, not myself.

Yes, Cheryl, I would have to agree for myself. I have had Sasha for almost 13 years now. He has been an inspiration to me in many ways. I admire his resiliency, his even-keeled temperament, his soft-spoken (soft meow ways) and his survival skills! I adore Sasha!

Loving my beautiful baby girl
I admire cats for there honesty, strenth, wisdom, and independence. They are not quick to give their love and trust, but when they do, it is purely genuine and with their whole heart. If anyone ever breaks this trust, however, it is very difficult to regain. They speak when they have something to say and fill a room with their graceful presence.

Very nicely said Steph! I would have to admit that I am a bit like my cat... very independent, hard to cuddle up with sometimes and not quick to trust. Ironically my boyfriend is a lot like his cat... very quick to trust, snuggly and kinda clingy/needy (but when it comes to my bf, not in a bad way).

ETA... Fiance, not boyfriend. I keep forgetting that!
