This is gonna be interesting... I was talking to Adrian earlier today and we got into a conversation about being a morning person or a night person... We are both night people... Then I asked which season he liked better... and he said the late summer... I like the winter... Here is the interesting part... we realized that our favorite time of day and our favorite season coincided with the time of day and the time of year in which we were born... We were both born in the middle of the night... I was born in December and he was born in August...

So, in order to test our theory, I wanted to run a poll to see if it's probable that they time of day and year that you were born determines which time of day and season you prefer...

We'll see how this comes out... It should be fun to see...

lol, I hope more people come out with your theory being correct, but my favorites don't follow your rules. I was born in Feb. at 3am. I am a morning person (but not THAT early!!!) and my favorite season is Spring. Sorry to burst your bubble.

I was born 7:50PM middle of March, I do like that time of day but I prefer late afternoon. I was born in autumn though, and I'm not a big fan of autumn!

Works for me. I was born May 13th at 4:20 AM. If I up at that time, it's because I've been up all night, I'm certainly not one to get up that early! Spring is fabulous. May be more inclined to say Summer is my favorite, but Spring is such a wonderful season! It will be interesting to see how this poll turns out!

I've heard that before to be true. So whether or not it's truly valid, it is for me.

Was born night time in the summer. And that is the time and season I prefer.

I was always told that you have a natural affinity into the season that you're born. That said, your thing works for me! I was born in January in the late afternoon. Late afternoon to early evening is my favorite time of day and I LOVE WINTER in the late afternoon when the sky turns violet and red.

I was born in the Spring but I much prefer the Fall. I'm not sure about the day or night time part though, that all depends on my mood I guess. Sometime I prefer the daytime and other times the night.

I was born in the spring, and although I do like Spring, I prefer Autumn. I was born early in the morning, and I'm a night person.

Time of day works for me, but season does not. I was born at 3:14 pm on 20 December. I'm not a morning person, really. I do good work once I'm awake before noon, but I hit my stride only after lunch.

But my favourite season is -- has always been, and I imagine always will be -- spring. I don't even have to think about that. The only thing I miss about living in the cold east is the tiny little piece of time when the earth is thawing and waking up and you can smell the mud. It's not even a particularly attractive smell, but I'm about to tear up just thinking of it (and I haven't experienced it for over 30 years). One of the things I adore most about living here in Lotus Land is that spring comes so early and lasts so long. It doesn't matter what else is going on, my soul is fed and fed and fed by spring.

Hmm...got a little carried away there, didn't I? Well.

LoL.. That's okay, Fran...

I actually just got off the phone with Adrian's sister... We were discussing this theory for a while and we actually narrowed it down a bit... It seems as tho it would more accurate to say that as far as seasons are concerned... People who were born in the winter tend to enjoy cold weather moreso than hot weather... and people born in the summer enjoy hot weather more than cold... Fall and spring tend to enjoy either but not the extremes.. Does that sound more realistic??

Ha ha, this was the first response I read and I'm a lot like Beryl. I was born at 3am also but I consider myself a night person and my favorite season is definitely Spring... oh wait I like Autumn too. Hmm, maybe I prefer Autumn.

well, I was with you for the time thing, but I was born in June, and summer is probably my least favorite season.

though, I used to like summer, and probably would again if I could lose about 40 lbs!!

but for now, the cover up seasons are my favorite

I was born at 4.15 in the afternoon and this is my most productive part of the day. I was born in February and love this time of the year, the days are just getting longer and the spring flowers are starting to come out in the garden. I also love late summer - but I think that's because the shoulder seasons are similar - late summer the days are starting to get shorter and the weather is mellow and golden.
