Do any of you eat mango's? I bought one today at the grocery store, just because they were on sale and I had never eaten one. Does anyone have any experience with how to eat them???

You can do a lot with mangoes like make salsa or fruit salad or ice cream, or just eat them fresh. We tend to just wash them, peel them and bite them right off the seed (it's long, thin and oval). Just love fresh mangoes.

wow...there really is something on the world wide web for anything, eh??

I was going to say...carefully!!!

I still have a small scar on my thumb from a mango incident...

hey those things are slippery!! now I just eat them when a fancy buffet has them all prepared for me
but if you can figure it out, its totally worth it! Mangoes rock!

I don't know how but it looks liek you have found out anyways. Enjoy it :-) me is now thinking of going to buy a mango. I am a huge fan of mango juice...yummy and not forgetting mango sorbet too!

Yum Yum :-)

Enjoy Eva x

wait for it to go soggy and ripe then make it into a smoothie!

i love mangos but the stringy bits always stick in your teeth and the juice dribbles everywhere.

Susie - put the mango down and step away from the mango.
Let it ripen a bit!

lol the best mango i have ever eaten is in australia i can just eat a whole box in a day!!
let it ripen for atleasr 3 - 4 days,
Its a shame they dont import the australian mangoes to here in germany
we get them from puerto rico and some parts of south america but they arent so tasty, some go off even when they are still green.

if you want to eat it on its own eat it now. otherwise it'll be like baby mush if you leave it a few days and sweet like syrup!

if you want sorbet or smoothies leave it a few days next to a banana, they make them ripen quicker!
