Pesky's eyes

My little kitty's eyes do not look right. I am seeing something that appears to be some type of protective covering inside both eyes. I know it's hard to picture because it's hard to describe. His eating/bathroom/play is all normal but his eyes look half opened when they are fully open. Any ideas?!?!?!?!?! this doesn't happen all the time but wondering how I can help him. Any help would be great thanks

What you are seeing is the protective third eyelid. When it comes partway up the eye like that it means that he is sick. Even though he is eating and playing and using the bathroom properly that is enough of a symptom to warrant taking him in to the vets for a check-up. He could be starting some sort of a virus or fighting off a fever. The vet will recognize the importance of that symptom and take the necessary steps to identify the problem.
