attention seeker!

oh GOD, here's my story... My Marsh LOVES drumming on our pet gate! He's not allowed downstairs at night, so he'll drum on it from about 5am till we get up! ... and he's smart enough to never come when we call him, but as soon as we get up, he runs over with his tail high up and purring up a storm - he does all this for attention!!! LOL... of course, as soon as you climb back into the bed, he's back at the gate!

but in all seriousness, we've been able to curb this somewhat, by feeding him before bedtime some wet food, seems to quiet him down a bit

Anybody else with a too-smart-for-his-own-good cat??

Well, my Skinny is obssessed with good behavior while waiting to be fed and she insists everyone else do it too. When I'm opening the can and lining up the bowls, Skinny will patiently sit quietly. The others will meow and try to rub my legs. Well, Skinny hates that so she will punch anyone who tries, even the innocent dog. There's not a day that passes with me telling her to calm down and stop being so bossy.
